Echinaforce^® Chewable Cold & Flu tablets are a traditional herbal medicinal product used to relieve the symptoms of the common cold and influenza type infections, exclusively based upon long-standing use as a traditional remedy.

Echinaforce^® Chewable contains the same herbal extract of freshly harvested Echinacea purpurea that goes into our well known Echinaforce^® Echinacea drops and tablets. It may be used by children (above the age of 12 years) to help fight the misery of colds and flu.

A relative of the daisy family, is high in anti oxidants. It is most commonly used to help the immune system combat infections & viruses. It has also been used and studied in its ability to help skin conditions and anxiety.

In 2012 a large Echinacea trial comprising of 755 subjects. The study showed that preventative use reduced recurrent colds by 59%, along with severity and duration of symptoms and the need to use painkillers.

Further analysis across six trials showed that Echinacea extract significantly reduces recurrent respiratory infections and consequently the risk of pneumonia or bronchitis.
