Ben Haugh
I began my training in Chinese Medicine in 1999 at Salford University after a career as a teenager as a Veterinary Nurse in the North East.
After graduating with a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Acupuncture, I completed further Acupuncture study in China at Tianjin University, First Teaching Hospital.
While still studying for my degree I worked for a large Chinese Medicine company in the UK, organising The International Conference on Chinese Medicine.
During this time I began my own private practice by taking over the Clarendon Acupuncture clinic in Swinton, Manchester in 2003.
While building the clinic in Manchester, I then completed a further 4 years of study to gain a Masters Degree with Honours in Chinese Herbal Medicine.
2013 brought a change of scenery by moving out of the city centre to the beautiful surroundings of Todmorden.
At the turn of the year in 2022, taking over Sunlight Apothecary in Todmorden presented the opportunity for a second practice.
With 25 years of experience in Chinese Medicine, I’ve treated thousands of patients in Greater Manchester, Lancashire and West Yorkshire with Acupuncture, herbal medicine and massage.
