Alfred Vogel (1902-1996) was the Swiss pioneer of natural health. Throughout his life, he championed the use of natural remedies in healthcare and this has contributed to increased recognition of the distinct role herbal medicines can play in the modern world we live in.

The quest to understand how plants may be used as medicines, and to find effective herbal-based remedies, was his motivation to explore nature and the world at large.
